About Us

Jackson First is a vibrant community where we seek to know God and become more like Jesus.  If you want the same, we would love to have you as apart of the JF Family!

Our
Vision

Encounter Jesus.
Jesus is the center of history, the scriptures, and our lives as believers.   When He was asked what the greatest command was, he said "‘Love the Lord your  God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment." (Matthew 22:37-38)
Our church's primary objective is to encounter God's presence and love Him well.  We do this through in-person gatherings like Sunday Service and encouraging every member to have a personal, daily walk with God.

Live Community.
When Jesus was talking to his disciples, he said “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another."  (John 13:34)  Loving our fellow believers is part of what pleases God's heart.  We have community groups to foster an environment where our relationships with one another reflect Christ's teachings.

Make a Difference.
The way of Jesus involves actively serving (Matthew 20:28) and making disciples of Christ (Matthew 28:18-20).  Our Dream Team exists to connect people to a place where they can step into their God-given purpose  and make a difference by doing both.

Ministries

We offer ministries tailored to different age groups to ensure everyone can encounter God's presence, thrive in community, and contribute meaningfully to fulfilling God's purpose.

JF Nursery

JF Nursery offers a safe environment for infants and toddlers up to 2 years old, fostering their development while providing parents a secure place to worship. Our nursery features age-appropriate toys and stringent security measures to ensure your child's safety and your peace of mind.

JF Kids

Our JFKids program engages 3-year-olds through 5th graders with interactive activities like games, puppetry, skits, and videos to learn about Jesus, supported by exceptional student leaders who serve as positive role models for the children. Children enjoy a fun and enriching experience that encourages their spiritual growth and development, supported by a robust security system and thorough background checks for all staff.

Doors open at 6 PM, providing students with time to connect, have fun, and build community under the guidance of understanding leaders who offer spiritual support and guidance.

Community Groups

The mission of our Community Groups is to foster deep relationships among believers, supporting each other practically and spiritually on their journey with Christ. Through this community, members aim to extend their care and outreach to the broader community, inviting others to experience the love and belonging found in God's family.
